It is with great enthusiasm that we share the latest developments from our valued client, a leading Spanish manufacturer and innovator in the field of renewable energy solutions. This company specializes in inverters for photovoltaic installations and provides advanced energy storage systems. Now they are also taking their first steps into the world of electric charging, with a focus on charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs). We are proud to be their partner in this pioneering adventure and look forward to the developments we are shaping together.
Our collaboration began in January 2023, with the signing of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). This marked the beginning of a strategic and confidential collaboration in which we develop innovative solutions. Together with Lesjöfors Latvia and the technical teams of both Alcomex Muelles and our client, we have formed a working group focusing on two unique projects. The focus here is on the latest spring technologies, with which we are working on the further development of sustainable energy solutions.
The main goal of our collaboration is to optimize the automatic cable return system for two types of EV charging stations. By using our advanced spring technologies and gas springs, we aim to take the efficiency and performance of these systems to the next level. We have now carefully established the specifications for the required gas springs, and have already received orders for 1,500 units per variant. Moreover, there is potential to scale this number up to as many as 10,000 to 20,000 units per year, underscoring our commitment and expertise in sustainable technologies.
In addition to initial orders, we are currently engaged in intensive research and testing procedures. Initial tests with the new gas springs are promising and indicate that we are on track to produce 3,000 units annually, with room to grow this number as demand increases. This shows not only our commitment to innovation, but also our effort to deliver sustainable solutions in the most efficient way possible.
